    Abstract

    In order to correct the unrealistic color of the images captured by the highresolution image acquisition system in real timean improved adaptive and automatic white balance algorithm was proposed.The color temperature estimation in the YCbCr color space was completed by this algorithm,and a regulation module was added to improve the calculation precision of channel gain continuously.Compared with some other automatic white balance algorithmsit could obtain better color correction performance.The circuit design was optimized according to the characteristic of FPGA.The experiment results show that the algorithm consumes less hardware resourcesis fast in image processing and can meet the realtime requirement of highresolution image acquisition system.
