    Abstract

In order to realize real-time detecting and recognizing of moving point targets,a real-time image processing hardware system, which uses TMS320C6203 as its core operational processor and FPGA as a control processor,is designed. According to the experimenting and analyzing of the detecting algorithm of the point targets,a real-time detecting software of the moving point targets is developed. The experiment results prove that the designed system can complete the detection and recognition of the moving point targets in the 10 fps,1024×1024 pixels image sequence with SNR no less than 3 dB,and the correct detecting probability is up to 96%,which can satisfy the real-time processing requirements in practice.
