    Abstract

    Avionics Digital Video Bus(ARINC818)is a new standard generated for the long-distance transmission of high definition video. It has the characteristics of high bandwidth, low delay and slow attenuation. In this system, the protocol of ARINC818 was analyzed and the sending and receiving optical fiber transmission was designed. Using FPGA, the system could easily achieve HD video transmission with 6.25 Gbps rate. Finally the stability and integrity of the transmission system was verified by function test and the high and low temperature test. The video was legible without crosstalk after 100 m distance transmission.
