In order to meet the needs of the combat mode of future fighter on weapon control management, the technical development of airborne Store Management System (SMS) is studied, and the technical characteristics and development trend of the new-generation airborne SMS are proposed as well.An analysis is made to the interconnection relationship between the aircraft and the stores, and a hierarchical design method is given.The key technologies of the universal armament interface,intelligent high-safety weapon control management, and coordinated control of weapons based on different platforms are all illustrated, and a design idea of the new-generation SMS is presented.
