    Abstract

In the current airborne sensor management, the airspace planning problem in information-guided radar search is determined by information errors and empirical formula. The searched airspace is large, which makes the information guidance meaningless.According to the basic principles of airspace planning in radar search, the assumption of targets′ Gaussian distribution and the derivation of target interception probability are adopted, and an information-guided airspace search model is established. The model aims at minimizing the airspace to be searched, and can meet the requirements on target interception probability while satisfying radar detection constraints. The model realizes the planning of the airspace to be searched, which can meet different requirements on interception probability. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm with several constraints is introduced to solve the model. The simulation results have proved the effectiveness of the model and a comparison is made with the traditional method, the genetic algorithm and the artificial fish swarm algorithm.
