Abstract

UV warning technology developed in the recent twenty years is used for missile approaching warning. The domestic and international research and development of UV warning technology are introduced. The UV transmission in the atmosphere,the UV radiance characteristic of target and background,the UV photoelectric detectors, and the UV detection technology are discussed. In the end, the tactical applications of the UV warning are introduced.
