The transmission performance of the carrier signal distribution system based on double sideband-carrier suppression modulation is studied. The principle of double sideband-carrier suppression modulation, the expression of the output power at double frequency and the influcence factors of phase noise degradation induced by the system are analyzed and verified by measuring the power and phase noise of the input carrier signal and the output double frequency signal. It is shown that the output power at double frequency is -5.7 dBm,the close-to-carrier phase noise of the output double frequency signal is inherently degraded by 6 dB and the far-from-carrier phase noise is degraded by 21 dB.
