    Abstract

    In view of the need to protect privacy in public places, special displays need to have narrow viewing angle function,and a new type of polarizer was designed. By adding anti-peeping layer, a polarizer with narrow viewing angle function was realized. By using the anti-peeping layer grating slice to block the large angle of light and retain the small angle of light, the purpose of anti-peeping was achieved.The results showed that the proposed new polarizer could reduce the viewing angle of the display from 160° to 60°.
