    Abstract

The measurement method of the bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) of the object surface is explored. The changes of the incident angle and the output angle of the laser in the measurement system are studied based on the spatial position relation of the parameters of the BRDF. With the three axes circumrotation method, the position of the incident laser is unchanged, and the conversion from the complicate three-dimensional spatial position relation into a two-dimensional plane is realized, by adjusting the relative positions of the detector and the target with certain spatial conversion relation. A sample platform easy to adjust and build is set up, based on which the BRDF measurement system is completed with the wave chopper, phase lock-in amplifier and data collection system. The BRDF of a certain type missile surface is obtained with the incident angle 0~80°, reflective angle 0~80° and reflective azimuth 0~360°.
