    Abstract

    This paper is concerned with the stability of systems with interval time-varying delay.By constructing an appropriate type of Lyapunov functional and employing a new and tighter integral inequality,Jense,the improved delay-dependent stability criteria are derived.Because neither any model transformation nor free weighting matrices are employed in the theoretical derivation,the developed stability criteria reduce the complexity of the computation.By taking full advantage of the median estimate and varying range of the delay,the conservative is also reduced.Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method.
