    Abstract

In order to change the line of sight and enlarge the detection scope the double wedge prism scanning system requires to rotate a large angle rapidly.A control strategy combining time-optimal control with fuzzy PID (Proportional Integral Differential) control was proposed. The time-optimal control was used for eliminating the large angle deviation in the shortest time; and fuzzy PID control which has high precision and small overshoot was used for improving the static and dynamic performance of the system.Experimental results show that the controlled system has high performance robustness which can realize fast and accurate positioning on the double wedge prism and improve the anti-jamming capability. At the same time the control scheme can be extended to apply to other servo systems with the characteristics easy to handle.
