    Abstract

The causes of decreasing the modulation of the signal of Fourier transform spectrometer were analyzed from theoretical point of view. Specifically the decrease caused by the plane mirror, polarization effects, detector’s lateral shift from the optical axis of the system, plane mirror’s tilt and the vertex shift of one corner cube reflector relative to the other was analyzed, and some formulas were deduced and their usages were simply commented.
