    Abstract

    According to the leveling requirements of the different photoelectric test equipments, on the basis of analyzing the leveling theory, a general four-point automatic leveling solution is proposed, and the hardware and software designs are given, which can be used in the automatic leveling of all kinds of photoelectric test equipments. Automatic leveling system can integrate obliquity sensors, controller and leveling mechanism into an organic whole, according to the dip angle from the precise obliquity sensors and the leveling angle error theory, the outrigger displacement is converted to the required numbers of pulses which drive the stepping motor. The pulse signal which can be used to drive the motors is generated from the DSP controller,so the equipment can be adjusted to level by the screw retraction. This solution is rapid, accurate and reliable, which has the good value.
