    Abstract

Ka band rectilinear and curvilinear ridge waveguides were designed and simulated by HFSS based on the analysis of kinds of transitions. The insertion loss is below 0.35dB in the range of 31~38 GHz. The simulated results coincide with that of tests essentially. Rectilinear ridge waveguide is suitable for project application because of its simple structure.
