    Abstract

    Based on the analysis of the present algorithms of IRFPA nonuniformity correction (NUC), a new adaptive technique was discussed, to which the wavelet filter theory was applied. With the scale decomposition of image sequences on the time field and the corresponding statistics' calculation, the offset and gain coefficients in IRFPA NUC were obtained. Its effectiveness and superiority were verified by simulation.
