    Abstract

This paper presents the results on study of a new UV-filtering material forlasers——TJL-coating. It can be used on the surfaces of the glass tubes and the solid laser medai. Its transmittance is less than 1% in the range beyond 360nm and over 99% in the visible range. The properties of the coating do not change after being irradiated for one million shots by xenon lamps of low and moderate power solid lasers. It is a new UV-flltering material which can replace sodium nitrite, patassium dichomate and UV-filtering glass etc. It can also bo used as a protective coating for excimer lasers.
