Detection method of inner surface contaminants by optical low coherence interference

In order to detect the existence of contaminants in inner surface of the transparent vessel, an optical low coherence interference measurement system based on the reflection of the inner surface of the vessel is established. The optical path of the measuring arm is aligned with the transparent vessel, and then optical path of the reference arm is adjusted. When the optical path from the wall of the inner surface in the vessel is equal to the optical path from the reference arm, there is interference. The dynamic interference signal can be captured and recorded. The signal is processed and extracted by using MATLAB software. According to the difference of the intensity of the interference signal, we can distinguish whether there is contaminant in the transparent vessel. This paper can provide a real-time and novel method for detecting contaminants in the transparent vessels in biomedical, food and other fields..

Study on glimepiride dust detection based on terahertz technology

Drug dust in pharmaceutical workshops has become a new source of pollution, and it has great harm to the health of employees. Glimepiride, one of the diabetes drugs, is selected as the research object. It can be seen that there are many obvious characteristic absorption peak for this drug in the frequency band from 0.1 THz to 2 THz. The glimepiride tablets is used to generate aerosols to simulate the workshop environment. In order to reduce the influence of water vapor, it is dried by microfiltration membrane and Nafion membrane drying tube respectively. The result shows that compared with the absorption spectrum of the pure tablet, most of fingerprint peaks of the analytes can be identified by both methods. This result provides a good experimental reference for the drug dust detection in the pharmaceutical workshop..

Abnormal event recognition based on the surveillance video

The model can monitor the foreground target in video in real time and determine whether there is an abnormal event by analyzing the motion information of the target. Two kinds of abnormal events, such as explosions, short-time crowding and dispersion are chosen for simulation, the results show that the model can accurately extract the foreground target area and correctly determine the occurrence of abnormal events. Enhancing the sensitivity of speckle visibility spectroscopy with wavelet transform

Terahertz leaky wave dynamic modulation based on graphene

By changing the Fermi level of graphene, the resonance response of the metasurface based on metal-insulator-graphene(MIG) structures will be changed significantly, which modulates the properties of the terahertz leaky wave. The simulation results show that with the change of Fermi energy from 10 meV to 60 meV and the thickness of dielectric from 20 μm to 200 μm, the 35 GHz frequency scanning range is finally achieved by optimizing the electro-controlled graphene MIG structure, and the electromagnetic response state is changed from the over-damping state to the under-damping state. Meanwhile, it is found that the phenomenon of electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT) can be induced in the under-damping state, but there is only resonant absorption in the over-damping state. Therefore, the MIG structure with this remarkable feature can be applied to highly sensitive biological detection. The device has the characteristics of simple structure and convenient control. Study on photonic crystal-based temperature sensor at terahertz band

Reliability analysis and research of monocular camera linear model

According to the characteristic of the monocular camera, and in order to build the camera model based on relationship of the image pixel coordinates and the three-dimensional world coordinates, the vision measurement experiment is completed by using our own custom template. Then, we get image pixel coordinates by the sub-pixel corner detection method. Neglecting the distortion, the feature extraction and linearity analysis are realized. Many repeated experiments are operated by constantly adjusting the measurement distance. The relative error of measurement by the linear model is less than 1%, and the measurement error is not more than 0.3 mm. Meanwhile, it is found that the model has measurement difference for different regions and object distances. The experiment results show this linear model is simple and practical, and has good linearity within a certain object distance range. By electrospinning the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) fiber film contained with orderly arranged nematic liquid crystal 4-cyano-4'-pentylbiphenyl(5CB) upon the elastic thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) substrate, the phase transition and the volume shrunk of the heated liquid crystal 5CB embedded in the electspun fiber film can be achieved. Finally, the substrate film can be blended by the shrinking of 5CB.
