In order to ensure the driver of landing boat to go into landing ship quickly by tracking the optical guidance signal all the time, the divergence angle of the optical guidance system must meet some requirements. Ship motion theory is applied to analyze the divergence angle of the optical guidance system on landing ship. Based on the yawing motion of landing ship under the fifth sea state level, we ascertain the lateral divergence angle α must be not more than 14°. Infrared imaging guidance has been widely used in various countries due to the high sensitivity, spatial resolution and immunity to electromagnetic interference and so on. However, in the process of imaging guidance, image motion blur is easy to be caused for the relatively rapid movement between the projectile and target, which makes lateral movement and target size relatively change between the target and the imaging system and takes impact to the subsequent target recognition and tracking process. According to the images captured by imaging guidance system, at the condition of unknown motion parameters, point spread function (PSF) estimation algorithm is adopted. The motion direction and scale parameter of the function are determined by Roberts edge detection operator and auto-correlation algorithm. Based on this, the image is restored by constrained least squares filter algorithm. Simulation results show that the algorithm can better restore the motion blurred image and lay the foundation for infrared imaging guidance target recognition and tracking..

Underwater range-gated imaging radar can not only eliminate back-scattering noise effectively, but also increase the underwater imaging operation distance. Imaging blind area limit is one of the main defects of the method for inherent delay of system signal processing. An asynchronous control method based on laser pulse is proposed to perform comparing experiments on high-repetition-rate and low-repetition-rate systems. Experimental results show that imaging blind area limit can be removed successfully from underwater high-repetition-rate range-gated imaging system by asynchronous control method, but this method would bring gray level jitter to low-repetition-rate system. It is one of the reason that the characteristics of underwater high-repetition-rate range-gated imaging system are better than that of low-repetition-rate system..

16-bit images are commonly used in some image processing and analysis with high precision, we need to adjust the window to obtain the information of interest for the large gray range. Manually adjusting the window requires users’ rich experience to get a clear image, and will take some time, so it will reduce the efficiency of users. The existing auto-window algorithms cannot process the images of various histogram distributions very well. In view of this situation, an auto-window algorithm for 16-bit grayscale image based on the analysis of a large number of 16-bit images is proposed. After reading the image, the algorithm identifies the type of the image’s histogram automatically and calculates the best window width and level. A lot of experiments are performed to the proposed algorithm and compared with the existing window algorithms, the result shows that the method can significantly improve the images’ clarity and contrast and has better performance than the conventional window method..

For early filtering method, such as linear and nonlinear filtering, linear filtering includes Gaussian, mean and box filtering, nonlinear filtering includes median filtering and closed operation, which are determinant cycle operation at pixel level. According to the disadvantages of the traditional filtering methods mentioned of complicated calculation, data redundancy and image cannot be compressed effectively to perform digital transmission, a K-SVD filtering method based on principal component analysis (PCA) image fusion is proposed. And the disadvantages of single K-SVD such as without better filtering effect on salt and pepper noise is compensated effectively. N frames of images with noise are obtained through observing the source image many times, which have Gaussian and salt and pepper noise, both are additive noise. K-SVD filtering is performed after PCA extracting and fusing to N frames of images with noise. If K-SVD filtering is performed before PCA, the K-SVD filtering of multi-frame images is produced, which will lead to low efficiency and N times of calculation redundancy. So Gaussian noise interference is eliminated effectively and the disadvantage of being not sensitive to salt and pepper noise of K-SVD is resolved. For phase extraction of fringe pattern, a new algorithm based on two-dimensional continuous wavelet is proposed. For reducing calculation time, the fast Fourier transform is adopted to the process and discrete scale factors and rotation angles are chosen instead of continuous scale factors and rotation angles used in traditional two-dimensional continuous wavelet transform. So the long calculation time issue for two-dimensional continuous wavelet transform algorithm is resolved. Simulations and experiments show that the phases of fringe patterns can be extracted fast and accurately with the algorithm. Digital Radiography (DR) image and digitally reconstructed radiography (DRR) image are different modality images, accurate and rapid multi-modality image registration is a technical difficulty. In practical applications, front and side DR and DRR images are generally acquired at same time. A multi-modality image registration algorithm is proposed based on combining mutual information and gradient information. Firstly, the low resolution images, which are got by wavelet transform, are registered based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. And then, we can determine if the registration results are true. If it is not true, we don’t use it at the next process. Finally, we set the results of last process as initial position of Powell and register original images. Object recognition inspired by biological visual information processing mechanism is one of the research subjects in current computer vision research field, the main idea is to simulate the hierarchical process of visual information in brain visual cortex and build mathematic model to achieve target recognition. However, traditional hierarchical calculation model is usually built based on front feed information transfer, and the passive hard wired way is used between layer and layer. The multi level decomposition of visual information is emphasized, but less involved in the active perception and learning process of visual nervous system. So the convolutional neural networks with sparsely connection thought, self learning mechanism and good network topology structure are chosen as the framework. Based on classical convolutional neural network model, with hierarchical and biomimetic idea, a new enhanced level convolution neural network (CNN) model IH-CNN based on visual nerve is proposed. Experimental results show that target recognition issue in large scale images can be better solved through IH-CNN model and the target recognition accuracy rate is 84%..

In engineering application, the control strategy based on the controlled object mathematical model is adopted to design the controller of electro-optical tracking systems. If the model identification is accurate and how to develop controller design are become system difficulty. A data signal processor (DSP) controller is used to perform full digital transfer function test to the electro-optical tacking system, process test data on-line to get the strategy mathematical model. The desired system parameters are received by DSP controller to calculate the corrected parameters automatically and finish the design of the controller framework. According to features of the tracking target, combined with the characteristics of tracking errors and engineering experiences, the quasi-speed and accelerated speed compensation algorithms are proposed to optimize the controller, which is has already been used in a certain electro-optical tracking system successfully. The design method of high accuracy controller based on model identification design has the characteristics of simple, practical and without additional cost, which improves system tracking accuracy and has better operation effect..
