The development of virtual-real illumination combing technology in augment reality area in recent years is summarized. The main categories of these technologies are described. Illumination estimation technology, research on virtual-real illumination consistency based on equipment acquisition and scene understanding are introduced. And the domestic and foreign research actualities are illustrated. Furthermore, some technology difficulties for virtual-real illumination consistency research in augment reality are analyzed. The existing solutions are summarized. The development trends of the research are also forecasted.
