Photonics Research Webinar: Career Insights from Professor John Bowers

9:00-10:00 29 November China/20:00-21:00 28 November ET

Photonics Research, co-published by Chinese Laser Press and Optica Publishing Group, is sponsoring a conversation with Prof. John Bowers, University of California Santa Barbara, USA. Prof. Bowers is a world-leading researcher in the areas of silicon photonics, optoelectronics, energy efficiency and the development of novel low power optoelectronic devices for the next generation of optical networks. Join us for this webinar interview to learn about Prof. Bowers' fascinating career and his advice for young researchers. Prof. Lin Chang, Peking University, and former student of Prof. Bowers, will lead the interview. Photonics Research Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Lan Yang, Washington University—St. Louis, USA, will also provide a short introduction to the journal. Register for the Zoom webinar and submit your own question for Prof. Bowers.
