About Laser and Particle Beams

Laser and Particle Beams (LPB) is owned and published by Chinese Laser Press (CLP) at the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SlOM). LPB is an open-access international journal which is dedicated to publishing high-quality research on the fundamental science and cutting-edge applications of laser and particle beam technologies. The journal provides a premier platform for scientists and engineers to share novel findings and technological advancements.

Aims and Scope

LPB covers a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:

• Laser Physics & Technology: High-power laser systems, ultrafast lasers, laser diagnostics, laser-driven nuclear physics, and novel laser concepts.

• Laser Applications: Laser-driven fusion, laser acceleration, laser spectroscopy, material processing, and biomedical applications.

• Particle Beam Physics & Technology: Beam generation, dynamics, acceleration, and transport of charged particle beams (electrons, ions).

• Particle Beam Applications: Applications in materials science, radiography, medical therapy, and inertial and magnetic confinement fusion.

• Interdisciplinary Areas: The interaction of intense laser and particle beams with matter, material modification, and the synergistic use of these technologies in scientific and industrial research.

Laser and Particle Beams welcomes the transfer of high-quality manuscripts from relevant journals. Please directly transfer the manuscript together with the link of its Open Review comments to lpb@clp.ac.cn.
