    Abstract

    The shortages of current three methods of residual nonuniformity (residual error) calculation for infrared focal plane array are analyzed in aspects of theoretical premises, calculation methods and results, etc. Based on the response nonlinearity of infrared detector, a new algorithm is proposed. It is proved that this algorithm is more concise and more accordant to experiments. In comparison with the previous theories, a proximate formula is also deduced.
